The Design requirement from the client was for a Gearbox where the input shaft could be rotated in either direction, but no matter what, the output shaft would always rotate in a continuous anti clockwise direction.
The Design is a purely mechanical self-contained unit with no controls.
For this Design its the old fashioned scribbling ideas out on a piece of paper until you arrive at a Concept, from there a 3D model is produced as Proof Of Concept and then deriving Manufacturing drawings and Producing a working Prototype.
